Gaming Charity Outreach Internship (REMOTE)
Objective
As a Student Gaming Charity Outreach Intern, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's efforts to connect with and engage our target audience. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in outreach strategies, communication, and community building. You will work closely with our team to assist in the development and execution of outreach initiatives.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Communication and Engagement: Assist in crafting compelling messages and materials for outreach campaigns. Engage with streamers through various communication channels like email, Discord, and, social media. 
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to develop and implement outreach plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 
- Event Coordination: Help plan, coordinate, and participate in charity stream activities. This may include attending streams and representing our organization. 
- Research and Identify Target Audiences: Research to identify potential streamers and community members who align with our organization's mission and goals. 
Qualifications
- 3.0+ GPA is preferred in HS or college. 
- Current student at a 2-year college, 4-year university, Masters program, or a High School senior. 
- Experience with using social media platforms (X, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Discord). 
- Working knowledge of esports and gaming (preferred). 
- Understanding of social media, influencers, and charity streams. 
- Ability to work individually and in a team. 
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
- Ability to reach out to streamers and influencers through cold and warm connections. 
- Demonstrates creativity and problem-solving skills. 
- Ability to work 5-10 hours per week remotely. 
- Possesses strong time-management skills with multiple deadlines and tasks. 
- Must have an in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. 
- Experience with photography and photo editing programs is a plus. 
- Duties are not limited to the above and additional tasks may be assigned. 
- Open to international students. 
- Must be 16 years of age or older.

Commitment
- 5-10 hours per week remotely. 
- The duration of the internship is typically one semester, but many interns stay on for longer. 
- Online meeting times will be coordinated with the Executive Director.
