Roblox Charity Game Designer (REMOTE)
Objective
As a Student Roblox Charity Game Designer, you will lead the design and development of an educational Roblox experience that teaches players about the history, present, and future of Video Games and Esports. This paid opportunity is perfect for a university-level student looking to make an impact through game design, gamification, and storytelling.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Game Design & Development:
Build a playable and engaging Roblox game with educational mechanics.
Create a platformer-style game with levels that progress through different eras of video games and esports.
Integrate gamification elements like badges, points, and quizzes to encourage continued play.
Educational Integration:
Place historical facts and future predictions about gaming and esports throughout the game via in-world billboards, quests, NPC dialogue, and environmental storytelling.
Design mini-quizzes where players must choose the correct door/platform/button after reading key info.

Project Timeline & Communication:
Participate in brief weekly online meetings with the President.
Submit development milestones and updates.
Provide a final game ready for release and promotion by the charity.
Qualifications
Current student enrolled in a US or UK university, college, or accredited program (international students welcome).
Demonstrated experience using Roblox Studio (with scripting knowledge in Lua preferred).
Interest in educational game design and gamification.
Strong knowledge or passion for the video game and esports industries.
Ability to design and build engaging game environments, user experiences, and interactive mechanics.
Comfortable working independently and remotely.
Strong time-management and communication skills.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Compensation
This is a paid contract position.
Maximum compensation is $500 USD upon successful completion and approval of the final game.
This is a one-time project, not a full-time or part-time employment role.
